COZZ participates in a consortium led by UNI Europa for the European Social Fund (ESF) project “DigitalUp” from 2024-2026. The project supports unions in Poland, Czechia, Hungary, Slovakia and Ukraine. It involves building capacity for members of associated unions in digital and union organizing skills, mentoring leaders of associated unions, and organizing a national, public, online workshop about challenges to workers’ rights in the changing economic context. In addition, COZZ develops digital tools that support union-building and collective bargaining.

Final conference of the Digital-Up project
On 15–16 April 2026, a conference was held to mark the conclusion of the three-year project ‘Digital-Up! Developing digital skills to build capacity in trade…
Plugin for e-membership declarations
As part of the Digial-up project, the Central European Organising Centre, in collaboration with the RatioWeb cooperative, has created a free tool enabling trade unions to have their membership declarations on their own websites and accept new members who fill this e-declaration via email or through a mechanism operating entirely on that website.
From the perspective of future trade union members, this means they can join a trade union without having to fill in or sign any paper forms – the whole process can be completed remotely (online).
The solution can be used by company and inter-company unions, with the potential for use right up to sectoral unions. It operates entirely on the server on which it is hosted, without sharing any data with anyone other than the trade union organisation using it. It can be installed on an existing trade union website using WordPress, integrating seamlessly with it.
The plugin offers a wide range of features and allows you to select which elements to use, or to exclude them, depending on the specific needs of your organisation.
This e-declaration meets the requirements of a ‘paper’ membership declaration and is already in use by several trade unions in Poland and Czech Republic (affiliated to NSZZ ‘Solidarność’, OPZZ in Poland and OSPPP in Czechia). E-declarations can be customised to suit your needs (the data and information you require to enrol someone in the trade union). If you think your trade union needs such a solution, please make use of the free guide or email us at contact@cozz-uni.pl – we’ll help you digitise your membership declarations.

Collective Bargaining Agreements Database
As part of the Digital-up project, we have created an electronic database of Collective Bargaining Agreements; the database can be searched by specific CLA provisions, as well as by sector or company. The database is community-driven – this means that its content depends on the number of Collective BargainingAgreements submitted to it. If your trade union would like to share its Collective BargainingAgreement, please email us at contact@cozz-uni.pl – we’ll help you digitise it.
The database can be found here: https://baza.cozz.pl
We ask ALL project partners to send us their collective agreements (including outdated or old ones).
Training materials
As part of the Digital-up project, we have developed a training programme to develop the digital skills of trade union members. We encourage you to download the programme and run such training yourself within your trade union structures, or to contact us at contact@cozz-uni.pl – if you would like our team of trainers to deliver such training for you.

Are you curious about how artificial intelligence is changing the world of work and what this really means for employees? Watch our webinar to find out:
- Why so-called ‘artificial intelligence’ isn’t good enough to replace your job, yet may still threaten your employment rights
- How can employers exploit the development of artificial intelligence to lower standards of working conditions?
- Why is this a labour issue that affects both manual and white-collar workers, and how can we respond to it together?
The webinars are available in Polish, Czech, Hungarian, and Ukrainian. They were produced as part of our Digital-up project.
