COZZ participated in a consortium led by the trade union SZAD for the European Social Fund (ESF) project, “Union Values”. Within this project, COZZ Hungary carried out greenfield organizing campaigns for Care workers, reaching 760 survey responses, talking with 600 workers via phone; having introductory meetings with 80 workers; founding 5 new local branches for the union with 171 new members. As a result of five local campaigns workers in the Care sector have wage raises up to 20%, while CBAs are under negotiation in 3 locations.
